LTSER ZACAM: A Diverse Community Committed to Health and the Environment

The LTSER ZACAM (ZACAM) brings together a wide range of stakeholders: researchers from all disciplines, as well as naturalists, engineers, agronomists, managers, health professionals, associations, local authorities, citizens, etc. They all contribute to a collective understanding of the socio-ecological and public health issues facing the Camargue.

Since the beginning of the twentieth century, this unique area has been the subject of observations, accounts, models and actions that have contributed to knowledge and supported public policy. ZACAM is part of this rich history, extending it in a resolutely interdisciplinary and collaborative way to look at health issues in relation to the environment. It aims to be a integrating devicein the service of living beings, both human and non-human, to better understand, anticipate and support future transitions.

The list of stakeholders involved is under construction on this page and will soon be available here.
