PEPR MIE 2025 call for projects
This call is part of the three founding strands of the MIE PEPR:
- Strand 1: Accelerating the acquisition of fundamental knowledge about emerging infectious diseases
- Strand 2: Promoting innovation and developing new treatments, vaccines and other prevention, diagnostic and surveillance tools for emerging infectious diseases
- Strand 3: Enabling public policy and society to deal with epidemic crises
It aims to strengthen prevention, preparedness and response capacities in the face of future health crises, focusing on the priority emerging infectious diseases identified in the 2024 call: respiratory viruses, viral haemorrhagic fevers and arboviruses. The expected projects should adopt an interdisciplinary approach and contribute to advancing research in the service of public health.
The call is open from 2 May to 30 June 2025.
Junior Chairs
The 2025 call for projects is complementary to call for applications PEPR MIE, launched on 17 April 2025, which aims to support young researchers wishing to establish themselves permanently in a research laboratory and develop their teams and themes around emerging infectious diseases (EIDs). This initiative enables talented young people to strengthen their scientific careers while contributing to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in this priority area.
